What will you do?
As an HSEQ Coordinator, you play a key role in keeping Bremanger Quarry safe, efficient, and compliant. You take ownership of the HSEQ management system and help ensure that health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are embedded throughout the organization.
Your work combines office-based coordination with close collaboration across the operation. You monitor procedures, perform risk assessments, investigate incidents, and identify opportunities for improvement before problems arise. You also support certification processes, organize HSEQ training, maintain documentation, and work closely with colleagues, authorities, customers, and external partners to strengthen a strong safety culture.
About Bremanger Quarry
Bremanger Quarry is one of Norway’s largest open-pit quarries and produces high-quality sandstone for infrastructure and maritime projects across the globe.
The operation stands out because of its innovative production process. By using gravity to crush stone, energy consumption is significantly reduced. In fact, the quarry generates more electricity than it consumes and feeds the surplus back into the public grid.
Its direct access to the open sea allows large bulk carriers to be loaded efficiently from its own deep-water quay, making Bremanger Quarry an important part of the international construction materials supply chain.
